ADMISSIONS POLICY
Covenant Community Schools admits students of any race, color, and national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and loan programs, athletics, and other school-administered programs.
ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE
- Parents visit the school. To make an appointment to visit the campus, call 512-255-7676.
- Parents and prospective students read the school handbook that they receive in the Welcome Folder.
- Parents request that the prospective students’ pastor send a letter of recommendation to the school office.
- Simultaneously, parents complete an Enrollment Application for each student they wish to enroll.
- The school office will electronically invoice the non-refundable Application Fee for each prospective student.
- Parents submit the prospective students’ birth certificates, previous report cards, and medical reports by a physician to the school office.
- All students must have the following immunizations before starting school: Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis; (DTaP/DTP/DT/Tdap/Td); Polio; Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)2; Hepatitis B2, 3; Varicella2, 4; Hepatitis A2, 5. - When the school office receives all the documentation and the Application Fee, the Administrator will schedule diagnostic assessments with each prospective student.
- After the assessments have been completed, the Administrator will call for an interview (parents or guardians and each prospective student) with the School Principal.
- The Principal will notify the parents regarding acceptance or denial of admission. The Registration Fee and Tuition are due upon acceptance.
- Both parents must attend Parent Orientation shortly before the first day of classes in August.
