Eligibility
Families with school-age students (Grades K – 12) may apply for financial aid. Assistance will be granted on the basis of financial need. All fees are to be kept confidential, as they are specific to the individual and family circumstances. Covenant Community Schools believes that a
strong sense of ownership and pride is developed if the financial assistance recipient contributes to
the cost of our children’s future. Therefore, all applicants will be required to pay a portion of the
program fees.
How To Apply
- Complete the online application thoroughly and accurately.
- Attach the following required documents:
o Last 2 months of paycheck stubs
o Copy of Latest Income Tax Return
o Documentation of Social Security or Disability
o Copy of Child Support/Alimony or Proof of a Pending Case with the Attorney General’s Office or Documentation that you DO NOT receive Child Support.
o Copy of any Federal Assistance, including Food Stamps (TANIF), Rent Subsidy, etc.

If you feel there are special circumstances that may be a factor in this decision, please provide in writing your explanation along with the supported documentation listed above.
What’s Next?
Based on a thorough review of this application, we will determine financial assistance eligibility. You will be notified by phone, mail and/or e-mail if your application has been approved or if you need to submit additional information. After your application is approved, you will be asked to attend a meeting where you will sign a payment agreement as well as pay the necessary adjusted program registration fees. Those not able to pay the full fee may be awarded partial financial assistance based on their demonstrated ability to pay and Covenant Community Schools ability to fund the subsidy.
