Our Schools

Preschool

The Kingdom Heights Christian School (KHCS) preschool serves families of children ages 18 months to five years.  In addition to typical childcare activities, it features abeka phonics reading program, traditional math, and learning activities that foster large and small motor skill development in children. Other activities include patriotism and character training based on the Bible.  The schedule is fast-paced to keep learners actively engaged. Our extended childcare schedule includes music, art, and organized games.

Elementary and Middle School

Years of research in education suggest that small schools with small classes yield the best student achievement. By design, our campus serves less than 100 students with class sizes of 15 students or less.  Teaching and learning materials are individualized to each student with an emphasis on mastery and skill development.  Traditional coursework includes language arts with grammar and composition, classical literature, handwriting, fine arts, physical education, and Bible study.

Academics

Recent advances in technology have resulted in exponential growth of information available to us today. Because of this innovation, our individualized curriculum, while continuing its biblical basis, is exactly what Christian high school students need in order to pursue college or a career after high school. We offer multiple graduation plans dependent upon each student’s ability, desire, and skills.  Students graduate after completion of prescribed credit coursework.

Extracurricular

Students choose from 145 events in eight categories to compete at Regional and International Student Conventions. These conventions provide an intentional platform for students to discover and develop in areas God has gifted them. Because of student convention, most students find career paths to follow in business, industry, and ministry.

Our Students

Our students come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.  Most of our students’ families are Christians looking for an alternative to secular education.

Preschool families who were initially looking for daycare services soon find their children coming home reading and quoting Bible verses.  Many unsaved families in this group come to trust in Jesus as their Savior for the first time.  Others find Christian friendships with other preschool parents.

School families and students find comfort in knowing that the other families in the school are Christians with a biblical worldview. This knowledge enables everyone to be open with their faith without the fear of embarrassment, rejection, or ridicule for their faith in Jesus Christ.
